The successful candidate will have a solid background in arthropod identification and pest management, and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in Extension. Annual reappointment of this position is contingent upon annual review and the availability of funding. The successful candidate has the option to secure an additional 0. In addition to directing the UPPDL, the candidate will grow to excel in a pest management-related area that is lacking within the current USU Extension pest management team, such as pests of urban and structural settings and health-related pests spiders, stinging insects.

The candidate will develop and implement Extension programming, outreach, and evaluation, and achieve scholarship such as published papers, professional presentations, grants, etc.

Some day trips and overnight travel will be required. Some operating funds are available to support diagnostic and pest management activities; however, garnering internal and external operating funds is expected.

Job Classification Faculty. Salary is commensurate with degree held and experience. Candidate has the option for additional salary up to 0. Duties may include making equipment adjustments or repairs as needed, as well as cleaning the workspace or performing routine maintenance after each production run.

Candidates must have basic beekeeping knowledge and experience. Percent of Time or Hours per Week 5 Hours per week. The mentor is responsible for working with students who are experiencing academic difficulties or need guidance with remediation of academic success skills.

Mentoring helps student-athletes learn fundamental academic success skills that can help them become more effective at self-regulating their learning. Mentors have contact with student-athletes only during scheduled sessions. Percent of Time or Hours per Week Varies, as needed. Positions are flexible in terms of clinical hours. We are hiring counselors to maintain between 8 and 29 clinical hours per week.

This unique program offers academic, field, and industry-based experiences that bring together design, engineering, outdoor recreation, sustainability, business, and many other concepts important in the supply chain of outdoor products and industry.

The OPDD program offers a Bachelor of Science degree that prepares students for product design, development, and product line management in the outdoor and other product-related industries. This is a full-time academic year appointment nine months on the USU Logan campus with opportunities for summer employment. OPDD faculty strive to create a nurturing work environment that supports individuals.
